Celebrating 'specialness'

Class 1 did something lovely this week. In R.E. they have been learning about ‘specialness’ and how they feel about special things in their lives. To show this, they each made a present for their buddy. The photo above shows them just after they had presented them. Once unwrapped, the Year 6 buddies all proudly put on their hat, badge or whatever else they had. It was lovely to see them so genuinely celebrating what the Year R children had made without any self-consciousness or reluctance!
