Class 1 had a lovely day last Friday visiting Bishop’s Waltham. They walked down to the bottom of the village and caught the bus! They each handed over their money to the driver before climbing upstairs where they had the whole floor to themselves. The driver was lovely as when they arrived, he let everyone come down the stairs carefully before opening the doors to other passengers. Once in Bishop’s Waltham they visited the ruins, where they had lunch, St Peter’s Church and also the library where a librarian read them a story. Some really strong experiences which all helps develop geographical knowledge of the local area. Lots of fun too! Thanks to parents for collecting at Priory park and helping to make it all work.
