Have you noticed Class 3 children arriving with shields over the last few weeks? Many of them have had a go at making a Roman shield as part of their homework tasks. This week they had a go at trying to be a member of a Roman legion with the shields they have made, to try to make the formations the Romans used. They had to follow Latin instructions and had to work together to make the defensive positions work!
