Class 4 had a lovely trip to the Blessed Mary Church on Wednesday morning. They have been exploring ‘sacred places’ in RE so looking around the church helps contextualise their thinking about what this means within Christianity. Of course they are used to going to the church but don’t really often get the chance to see everything. Revd Jane kindly came along too and showed them around so they could see the font, altar, pulpit, the organ, bell ropes, the dressing room and the room upstairs. Revd Jane is always so enthusiastic about showing off everything in the church and we thank her for giving up her morning to inspire the children.
