It has been a quiet week in school this week where Class 4 have been at their residential visit to Calshot Activity Centre. They have enjoyed a range of activities; dry ski-slope skiing and ringos (a large inflatable to slide down the slope on), kayaking, indoor rock climbing, archery and giant swing. However, the main challenge of course is being away from home and being more independent. They have had a really enjoyable visit and will be exhausted when they get home! My thanks to Mrs Miller and Miss Olver for taking the children with me – they do not get paid any more for this and without this commitment, these sorts of opportunities for the children couldn’t happen.
