Happy New Year

Happy New Year to everyone. I hope you all had a good Christmas break. It has definitely felt a bit of a shock returning to school so early in January, perhaps the wet, dark mornings have made this feel worse – not that this has stopped the children excitedly sharing stories of presents, elves and visits by Father Christmas!

The rain was torrential yesterday, I’m sure many of you had an awkward journey home, at least the weather is reported to be getting much colder next week so hopefully this will bring a break from the relentless rain of the last few weeks – coats, hats and gloves definitely needed next week!
