Happy New Year And A Focus On Epiphany

Happy New Year to everyone and I hope you all had enjoyable Christmas breaks. The children have returned with lots to tell regarding presents and events, as you can imagine, but also seem pleased to see each other again and our first week back has been a calm, focussed one. In assembly this week, we started by talking about Epiphany (which was on Monday) before thinking about the coming year and trying to be the best version of yourself. Miss Olver got them to try to think of ways they could improve and represented these on a bulb image which they symbolically planted so the ‘shoots of this growth’ can be seen over the coming weeks.
