Class 3 enjoyed their school trip to Fishbourne Palace on Tuesday. They have been learning about the Romans in Britain this term so this was a chance to think as real historians – to look at primary evidence of the past; the ruined walls and mosaics and many artefacts in the museum. They also got to experience what Roman life might have been like at different ends of society in Britain in the education block, where they got to dress up, try grinding corn, cook, make mosaics, build and write.
